By accessing or using this website, registering for an event, participating in an educational program, or becoming a member of ACPPS, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.

1. About ACPPS

The American College of Podiatric Physicians and Surgeons (ACPPS) is a professional medical association dedicated to advancing the field of podiatric medicine through continuing medical education, professional development, advocacy, networking, and member services.

Membership in ACPPS is subject to eligibility requirements established by the organization.

Membership benefits, dues, and classifications may change at the discretion of ACPPS.

Memberships are personal and non-transferable.

Membership dues are non-refundable.

ACPPS reserves the right to suspend or terminate membership for non-payment of dues, violations of association policies, unethical conduct, or actions deemed detrimental to the organization.


4. Conference, Webinar, and Educational Event Registration

ACPPS offers conferences, webinars, cadaver laboratories, educational courses, and other professional development opportunities.

Registration is required to participate in these programs.

ACPPS reserves the right to modify speakers, schedules, faculty, course content, locations, or event formats when necessary without prior notice.

While every effort is made to present programs as advertised, unforeseen circumstances may require changes.


5. Refund & Cancellation Policy

Membership

Membership dues are non-refundable.

Conferences, Webinars, Cadaver Labs, and Educational Events

Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing prior to the start of the event.

ACPPS does not issue cash refunds for event registrations.

Approved cancellations will receive a credit toward a future ACPPS educational event.

Additional terms include:

  • Credits are non-transferable unless otherwise approved by ACPPS.
  • Credits have no cash value.
  • Credits may only be applied toward future ACPPS educational programs.

If ACPPS cancels an event, registered participants may choose either:

  • A full refund, or
  • A credit toward a future ACPPS educational event.

6. Continuing Medical Education (CME)

The American College of Podiatric Physicians and Surgeons (ACPPS) is committed to providing high-quality continuing medical education that supports lifelong learning and professional excellence.

ACPPS develops and administers educational activities in accordance with the requirements established by the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR) and all applicable accrediting standards.

The number of Continuing Medical Education (CME) credits awarded for each educational activity will be identified in the event materials and promotional information.

Participants are responsible for:

  • Signing in or otherwise verifying attendance as required.
  • Maintaining records of earned CME credits.
  • Ensuring compliance with the continuing education requirements established by their individual state licensing boards and credentialing organizations.

While ACPPS strives to ensure that all educational activities meet applicable accreditation standards, each participant is ultimately responsible for confirming that earned credits satisfy the requirements of their licensing jurisdiction.

Educational programs, presentations, publications, webinars, conferences, and other materials provided by ACPPS are intended solely for educational purposes.

Information presented should not be interpreted as medical, legal, financial, or business advice.
